Description of key information
ZBEC is classified as soil hazard category 3 due to its (assumed) high persistence, although no toxicity to aquatic organisms was observed. According to ECHA guidance R7c, a confirmatory long-term soil toxicity testing is required. To address terrestrial toxicity, we propose to perform a long-term toxicity to earthworm study.
