Contributing activity / technique for the environment
Name of activity / technique:
Formulation occurs is either done directly in the extruder or indirectly by first performing a mixing step in a mixing unit and then adding the mixture to an extruder. Within the extruder pigment, additives and polymers are heated to the polymer melt temperature and the pigment is afterwards incorporated in the polymer (plastic) matrix.
