Additional information

The acute aquatic toxicity of the test substance was evaluated using rainbow trout and was conducted in accordance with OECD Guideline 203. The 96 h LL (Lethal Loading Rate) 50 value of the substance was determined to be 3.8 mg/l. The NOEL was 1.8 mg/l.

Since tests on toxicity of the substance itself to salt water fish are not available, a conclusion by analogy approach according to Annex XI of REACH has been applied. The 96 h LC50 and NOEL values for an analog of this substance, EC 270-608-0, with the saltwater species Cyprinodon variegatas was determined to be 46 mg/l and less than 26 mg/l, respectively.
