Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

With respect to aquatic bioaccumulation it can be concluded that the substance has limited bioaccumulation potential based on the measured log Kow values (3.3 - 3.6).  This screening value is considered to be reliable and is under the threshold value for aquatic organisms : log Kow< 4,5. According REACH guidance document R11 page 82 (Version 3.0 – June 2017), for organic substances with a log Kow value below 4.5 it is assumed that the B criterion, i.e. a BCF value of 2000 (based on wet weight of the organism), is not exceeded.

Moreover, considering that 60% of ready biodegradation (ThOD) was reached within the 28-day period under the OECD 301F test, the substance is readily biodegradable but failing the 10 days windows criteria. Therefore it is possible to conclude that the substance is considered as not persistent under relevant environmental conditions. In absence of any persitence property, it is thus considered that the substance is not PBT or vPvB based on criteria laid down in Annex XIII of REACH. Considering in a meantime all data available, it is possible to conclude that the bioaccumulation potential do not need to be further assessed.
