The substance is not readily biodegradable (according OECD criteria), but moderately / partly biodegradable.

The Biodegradation in water screening test demonstrated that, although the submission item did not meet the criteria for being considered as “ready biodegradable”, there was considerable microbial metabolism of the submission item. Therefore, it is likely that the submission item also significantly degrades in sediment and soil. An experimental verification of this assumption is not deemed necessary.
