Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The described pigment is practically insoluble and has a negligible vapour pressure. Hence, distribution into the compartments water and air are unlikely. If the pigment will be released into the environment, the substance may be found as a solid particel in the compartments sediment and soil. Due to an estimated n-octanol/water partitioning coefficient below the trigger value of three, a low adsorption potential to sediment and soil particles can be expected.

In addition, the OECD 318 study concerning dispersion stability resulted in a quick agglomeration and sedimentation of the substance, meaning homoagglomeration. Thus, stability of discrete particles in the nano size scale in the water phase is unlikely. Hence, existence of nanoforms in environmental systems is unlikely due to agglomeration, an adsorption effect based on its nano scale properties can be excluded. Thus, sorption of the substance to soil particles is very unlikely.
