Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:
Migrated from Short description of key information:
The Local Lymph Node Assay (LLNA) was used. Based on the similarity of the source material, Ashes (residues), and the target material, Ashes (residues), nonhazardous municipal solid waste, may be assumed identical or similar toxicological behaviour. Since the symptoms of skin sensitisation of the source material were not found out, it may be presumed that the target material, Ashes (residues), nonhazardous municipal solid waste, is not skin sensitive.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The skin sensitisation abilities were not detected; therefore there is no reason to classify the target substance Ashes (residues), nonhazardous municipal solid waste as skin sensitisation substance.
