First-aid measures

-Inhalation: Fresh air. Move into fresh air and keep at rest. For breathing difficulties oxygen may be necessary. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

-Ingestion: Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Keep person under observation. If person becomes uncomfortable seek hospital and bring these instructions.

-Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothes and rinse skin thoroughly with water. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms occur after washing.

-Eye contact: Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

-Extinguishing media.

water spray, dry powder or carbon dioxide.

-Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture.

Hazardous combustion products; during fire, toxic gases (CO, CO2) are formed.

-Advice for firefighters.

Protective equipment for fire-fighters; self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

Accidental release measures

-Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures.

Use protective gloves, goggles and suitable protective clothing. In case of inadequate ventilation, use respiratory protection. In case of splashes: Wear apron or special protective clothing.

-Environmental precautions.

Avoid release to the environment.

-Methods and material for containment and cleaning up.

Remove sources of ignition. Absorb with sand or other inert absorbent. Spillage may be stored as chemical waste in approved area.

Handling and storage

-Precautions for safe handling.

Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Use mechanical ventilation in case of handling which causes formation of vapours. Handle and open container with care. Wear full protective clothing for prolonged exposure and/or high concentrations.

-Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities.

Protect from light, including direct sunrays. Keep containers tightly closed. Store in tightly closed original container in a dry, cool and

well-ventilated place. Store in closed original container at temperatures between 5°C and 30°C. Must not be exposed to temperatures

above 40 degree celcius.

-Specific end use(s).

The identified uses for this product are detailed in Section 3.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Engineering measures:

-Provide adequate ventilation, including appropriate local extraction, to ensure that the defined occupational exposure limit is not

exceeded.

For personal protection:

-Skin protection: Wear apron or protective clothing in case of contact.

-Respiratory equipment: If ventilation is insufficient. High-efficiency particulate respirator with full facepiece.

-Eye protection: Wear approved chemical safety goggles where eye exposure is reasonably probable. Wear goggles/face shield.

-Hygiene measures: Wash hands after handling. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Stability and reactivity

-Chemical stability: Stable under normal temperature conditions.

-Possibility of hazardous reactions: May polymerise.

-Conditions to avoid: Avoid heat, flames and other sources of ignition. Avoid contact with isocyanates and oxidising agents. Avoid contact with free radical

initiators. Avoid contact with vinyl polymerization initiators. Avoid exposure to high temperatures or direct sunlight.

-Materials To Avoid: Avoid contact with radical forming initiators, peroxides, strong alkalies or reactive metals to prevent exothermic polymerization.

-Hazardous decomposition products: Oxides of carbon.

Disposal considerations

Waste to be treated as controlled waste. Disposal to licensed waste disposal site in accordance with local Waste Disposal Authority.
