Open positions
The UK has left the European Union. Hence, the European Chemicals Agency can no longer hire UK nationals unless they have another EU or EEA nationality. If you are a UK national in possession of an EU or EEA nationality, please update your ECHA Jobs account before applying to any open position.
As we have achieved excellent results in our most recent staff survey (2021), ECHA has been awarded a recognition as one of Finland's most inspiring workplaces. This acknowledgement signals a high employee engagement level and indicates that the agency develops the organisation, staff wellbeing, operating culture and collaboration together with staff.
The recognition is given to Finnish organisations that achieve outstanding results in the PeoplePower® employee survey carried out by Eezy Flow.

Other work opportunities
ECHA may sometimes require additional temporary staff who will be hired through our contract with temporary work agencies based in Finland.
The temporary work agencies included in the framework contract are listed below, in cascade order. This means that ECHA will request the first temporary work agency in the cascade to provide the necessary interim staff and, if they cannot fulfil the request, then turn to the second and then possibly the third agency. Follow the vacancies announced on their websites and stay up to date on the available opportunities!
Those hired will work at ECHA’s premises but will be employed by the temporary work agency, not ECHA.
