For the correction of the boiling temperature to standard pressure the test item was assigned to chemical group 2 (e.g. Hydrocarbons). According to appendix 8.2 a correction value φ= 5.15 was used for the temperature of 290300 °C.

The lowest measured onset temperature is corrected to the standard pressure to be 295.65 °C and the highest onset temperature to be 296.18 °C. As the corrected onset temperatures in both tests deviate less than 0.5 K from their mean value of 295.92 °C, the test item has a boiling point of 295.9 °C.

No further thermal effects were observed up to the maximum test temperature of 500 °C.

Conclusions:
The boiling point of the test item was found to be 295.9°C, corrected to normal atmospheric pressure of 1013 hPa.
Executive summary:

The boiling point of the test item was determined by differential scanning calorimetry according to OECD 103. The test item showed a first endothermic signal (melting point) in the temperature range -40 to 20°C and a second endothermic signal, corresponding to boiling point, in the temperature range of 160 -320°C. The boiling point corrected to the standard pressure was found to be 295.9°C. No thermal effect was observed up to a maximum temperature of 500°C.
