Description of key information

The melting point is determined at <-90°C at 1021 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
-90 °C

Additional information

The melting point of the substance was determined in a study in accordance with OECD TG 102 (differential scanning calorimetry (DSC)) and in compliance with GLP criteria (NOTOX BV, 2010). The test substance is evaluated from the DSC curve as the extrapolated onset temperature of the endothermic melting peak. Freezing and or melting of the test substance was not observed at -90°C (183K). Therefore, the melting temperature of the test substance lies beyond the scope of this test.
