First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
FIRST AID INHALATION: Remove to fresh air.
If the person doesn’t recover quickly, obtain medical attention or hospitalize.
FIRST AID SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected skin witn soap and water.
If skin irritation occurs: OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION OR HOSPITALIZE
IMMEDIATELY.
FIRST AID EYE: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.
If eye irritation persists: OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION OR HOSPITALIZE
IMMEDIATELY.
FIRST AID INGESTION: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting.
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
If the person doesn’t recover quickly, obtain medical attention or hospitalize.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
/
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Treat symptomatically.
If in doubt what to do, call Poisons Information Centre : Emergency telephone of the country.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Dry chemical powder, carbon dioxide, alcohol-resistant foam or waterspray or fog.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture
Combustion produces irritating fumes.
Combustion products may include: carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Advice for firefighters
Unsuitable extinguishing media : Water in jet.
Protective equipment : Wear self contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing for fire fighting if necessary.
Keep adjacent containers cool by spraying with water.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Evacuate the area of all non-essential personnel.
Avoid contact with : skin, eyes, clothing.
Do not breathe fumes.
Ventilate contaminated area thoroughly.
Wear protective clothing specified for normal operations (see Section 8).
Environmental precautions
Prevent contamination of soil and air. Stop leaks if possible with safe handling.
Prevent from spreading or entering into drains, ditches or rivers by using sand or earth or other
appropriate barriers. Shovel up and place in a appropriate container for subsequent safe disposal.
Retain washings as contaminated waste.
Inform the local authorities if this cannot be prevented.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Prevent from spreading or entering into drains, ditches or rivers by using sand or earth or other
appropriate barriers. Do not use sawdust.
Observe all relevant local and international regulations.
Reference to other sections
For information concerning Individual Protective Equipment see sections 8 and for disposal considerations see section 13.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Avoid contact with skin, eyes, clothing.
Provide for appropriate exhaust ventilation at machinery.
Remove ignition sources. Avoid sparks. Do not smoke. Earth all equipment.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Do not smoke in the storage areas.
Keep containers tightly closed in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.
Keep away from heat and from direct sunlight

Exposure controls / personal protection
Control parameters
Occupational exposure limit values not established.
Exposure controls
Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.
Wash hands before breaks or immediately after handling. Launder contaminated clothing before re-use.
Personal Protective Equipment :
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Full face-piece respirator ABEK type
HAND PROTECTION: natural rubber gloves gauntlet type.
EYES/FACE PROTECTION: Tightly fitting safety goggles.
SKIN PROTECTION: Drysuit and safety boots or shoes.
Exposure controls related to Environmental precautions see section 6.
Other advice :Shower and wash-eyes near at hand.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity
Stable under recommended storage conditions.
Chemical stability
Stable. Does not decompose under normal storage conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions
Not expected when used for intended uses and under normal storage conditions.
Conditions to avoid
Water, heat, sparks, flame.
Incompatible materials
Avoid oxidizing agents.
Hazardous decomposition products
Combustion products may include: carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods:
WASTE DISPOSAL:
Incineration.
Comply with any local recovery or waste disposal regulations.
Treat washings as product disposal.
PRODUCT DISPOSAL:
Incineration.
Dispose to licensed disposal contractor.
CONTAINER DISPOSAL:
As for waste disposal
