Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek
medical attention if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected area with soap and plenty of water. If
irritation develops, seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
ineffective on larger fires due to a lack of cooling
capacity which may result in reignition.
Product arising from burning: Oxides of carbon may be formed.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full personal protective equipment and a self-contained
breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Contain spill.
If spilled in an enclosed area, ventilate.
Clean-up techniques:
Wear proper personal protective clothing and equipment.
Eliminate ignition sources. Do not flush liquid into public
sewer, water systems or surface waters. Soak up large spill
residue and small spills with an inert absorbent. Place into
labelled, closed container; store in a safe location to
await disposal. Wash the spill area with soap and water.
Remove contaminated clothing and launder before reuse.
Handling and storage
and ground all containers when transferring the substance.
Avoid dust formation. The substance should be handled and
stored in a well ventilated area. Appropriate personal
protective equipment should be worn in order to prevent
exposure, including gloves, goggles, dust or vapour mask and
full personal protective clothing. Do not wear contact
lenses when handling the substance.
Only handle in well-ventilated areas.
Storage: Store in tightly sealed upright containers in a cool,
well-ventilated area, out of direct sunlight and away from
sources of ignition.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Steel-rimmed fibrepack with closed plastic bag inside.
