A mixture of substituted dodecyl and/or tetradecyl, diphenyl ethers. The substance is produced by the Friedel Crafts reaction. The catalyst is removed from the reaction product. Diphenyl ether is substituted by C1-C10 alkyl groups. The alkyl groups are bonded randomly between C1 and C6. Linear C12 and C14, 50/50 used.
