Administrative data
First-aid measures
After inhalation:Supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints. In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation. After skin contact:Immediately rinse with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation occurs. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Clean shoes thoroughly before reuse. After eye contact:Immediately rinse with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses if any. Hold eyelids apart and flush eyes with plenty of cool low-pressure water for several minutes. Get medical attention if irritation occurs. After ingestion:Do not induce vomiting. If person is conscious, rinse out mouth with water. Get medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Flammability of the product: Combustible solid. Fine dust clouds may form explosive mixtures with air.Suitable extinguishing agents: CO2, foam, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or foam.Hazardous thermal decomposition products: No specific data.Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Person-related safety precautions: Wear personal protective equipment. Provide adequate ventilation.Measures for environmental protection: Do not allow product to reach soil, waterways, drains and sewers. Inform the relevant authorities if the product has caused environmental pollution (soil, waterways, drains or sewers).Measures for cleaning/collecting: Collect the spilled product. Avoid as much as you can the formation of dust. Send for recovery or disposal in suitable receptacles. Dispose of the material collected according to regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling:Wear personal protective equipment. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid the creation of dust when handling and avoid all possible sources of ignition. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic discharges.Storage:Store in original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Provide storage areas with suitable ventilation to eliminate dusts. All equipments including ventilation systems must be equipotential and earthed. Keep dust away from sources of ignition.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection: Use suitable respiratory protective device in case of insufficient ventilation.Protection of hands: Protective gloves resistant to chemicals (standard EN 374-1)Eye protection: Safety glassesBody protection: Protective work clothing
Stability and reactivity
Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: No decomposition if used according to specifications. Susceptible to compaction and oxidation during hot periods and prolonged storage.Dangerous reactions: As the product is supplied it is not capable of dust explosion; however enrichment with fine dust causes risk of dust explosion.
Disposal considerations
Product: After prior treatment product has to be disposed of in an incinerator for special waste adhering to the regulations pertaining to the disposal of special waste.Uncleaned packaging: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
