This property is utilised through the employment of bromide ions as tracers in soils (Levy B.S. et al., 1987; Smith S.J. et al.,1974; Germann P.F. et al., 1984). Therefore the Koc is assumed to be very low and an adsorption /desorption screening study is not required.
