Description of key information

Under the conditions of a DIN 51006 guideline study Dioctyltin mercaptopropionate decomposed at > 260 °C with 31.0 % residue.

Additional information

The decomposition point of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guideline DIN 51006 using thermo gravimetry (TGA). The study was awarded a reliability score of 2 in accordance with the criteria set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

The test material was heated at a rate of 10 °C/minute from 50 up to 1000 °C.

Under the conditions of this study the test material decomposed at > 260 °C with 31.0 % residue.
