Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information
There were no effects noted in acute studies performed on fish, daphnia or algae or with sewage treatment micro-organisms.The substance is not readily biodegradable (6% biodegradation in 28 days) and does not undergo hydrolysis. The substance has a calculated Log Kow > 8, with a minimum Kow > 7.5. However, the substance is very insoluble, the water solubility is estimated to be in the range 1.7E-03 to 1.07E-02 g/L by visual inspection with a computer estimation giving a result of 4.97E-06 g/L using a MW = 1433 and 1.43E-09 g/L with a MW of 1418, which indicates that the log Pow is potentially much higher than the conservative prediction.
In accordance with ECHA Guidance on Information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R11: PBT assessment (page 28) on determination of bioaccumulation potential states: at very high log Kow (>6), a decreasing relationship between BCF and Log Pow is observed. The calculated conservative log Kow as > 8 (minimum), is in line with the cut off value of 10 which is cited in REACH guidance as a value suggesting that that BCF in aquatic organisms would be less than 2000 in a weight of evidence approach. Further evidence of very limited uptake stems from the acute ecotoxicity study NOEC values which are far greater than the predicted solubility limit of the substance. Conclusion on classification
No efffects were seen in acute toxicity tests using fish, daphnia or algae at the limit dose of 100 mg/L. On this basis, classification for aquatic toxicity is not required.
