Materials and methods

Principles of method if other than guideline:
The test is adsorption on activated sludge. The inoculum used was 3 g/l of activated sludge from an industrial treatment plant. The duration of the test was 24 h. Results were evaluated based on colour, measured as turbidity. Percentage colour removal at 24 h was determined.

Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

Colour removal was determined to be 100 % at 24 h.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Colour removal (24 h): 100 %
Executive summary:

Adsorption on activated sludge was examined on the substance according to an internal method. The inoculum used was 3 g/l of activated sludge from an industrial treatment plant. The duration of the test was 24 h. Analysis was based on colour, measured as turbidity.

Percentage colour removal at 24 h was determined to be 100 %.
