Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Trockenware: Wasser, Schaum

Dry product: water, foam
Product arising from burning: Kohlenmonoxid, -dioxid, Stickstoffoxide, Schwefeldioxid,
Chlorwasserstoff
"ENGLISH"
Carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, sulphur
dioxide, hydrogen chloride

Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Verschütteten Stoff trocken unter Vermeidung von Staub-
bildung aufnehmen (z.
"ENGLISH"
Take up spilled substance in a dry state being careful to
avoid the formation of dust (e.g. using an industrial vacuum
cleaner of approved type) and fill into sealable containers.
During this work skin and eye contact as well as inhalation
of the substance should be avoided by the wearing of
suitable personal protective equipment (see "handling").
Handling and storage
Handling: Der pulverförmige Stoff, der in Wasser bzw. Fett praktisch
Beim Umgang in offenen Systemen sollte möglicher Staub
unmittelbar am Enstehungsort abgesaugt werden.
Wenn technische Absaug- oder Lüftungsmaßnahmen nicht möglich
oder unzureichend sind, sollte Atemschutz (z.B. :::::)
getragen werden.
Zur Vermeidung von Hautkontakt wird das Tragen von geprüften
Schutzhandschuhen (z.B. :::::) und ggf. geeigneter Schutz-
kleidung (z.B. :::::) empfohlen sowie zur Vermeidung von
Augenkontakt das Tragen von Augenschutz (z.B. Schutzbrille).
Wegen der potentiellen Staubexplosionsgefahr sollten bei
möglicher Staubentwicklung potentielle Zündquellen aus dem
Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des weiteren sollten Maß-
nahmen gegen elektrostatische Aufladungen getroffen werden.
"ENGLISH"
The powdery substance which is practically insoluble in
water or fat or only soluble in very small quantities can
result in so-called "overload" phenomena after inhalative
intake. Consequently, all work processes must always be
designed so that exposure by inhalation of the substance is
as low as possible. Skin and eye contact with the substance
should be avoided.
As far as possible, closed or at least dustproof equipment
should be used during filling, transfer, metered feeding and
mixing.
In the case of handling in open systems, any dust that may
form should be extracted directly at the point of origin.
If technical extraction or ventilation measures are not
possible or are insufficient, respiratory protection (e.g.
:::) should be worn.
To avoid skin contact, the wearing of tested protective
gloves (e.g. :::) is recommended as is the wearing of eye
protection (e.g. goggles) in order to prevent eye contact.
Due to the potential dust-explosion risk, if there is the
possibility of dust forming, potential ignition sources
should be removed from the working area. In addition,
measures should be taken to prevent static discharge.
Storage: Feuchte Ware: Kunststoffwannen oder -fässer bzw.
Blechfässer mit Kunststoffeinlage
Trockene Ware: Geschlossene Blechfässer oder Stahlcontainer
"ENGLISH"
Moist product: plastic vats or drums or metal drums with
plastic lining.
Dry product: closed metal drums or steel containers
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 25 kg cardoard polyethylene box
