Description of key information

The 96 hour NOEC is 13.3 mg/L for the endpoint mortality. The 96-hour LC50 value is 17.6 mg/L (95% C.L: 12.2 – 23.0 mg/L) calculated by a log-linear function, based on time weighted average concentrations. The 96-hour LC100 value is 32.0 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

LC50 for freshwater fish:
17.6 mg/L

Additional information

Analytical measurements of test solutions showed that between 0.7% and 32% of the test substance disappeared from the test solutions, within 2 days of exposure, under the conditions of the test. The quality of the analytical results is validated by analysis of freshly prepared test solutions, which showed recoveries between 89.1% and 98.0%.
