Conclusions:
One Ames test has been performed with vanadium trichloride. Negative results were obtained, in the presence and absence of metabolic activation, at concentrations between 1 and 200 μg/plate with Salmonella typhimurium strains TA98, TA100, TA1535, TA1537, and TA1538 and Escherichia coli WP2uvrA.
