Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

0 cm³ molecule-1 s-1

Additional information

Phototransfomation of N,N-Dimethylacetamide (CAS 127-19-5) was investigated by Koch et al. (1997) by measurement of rate constants for reaction of the substance with OH radicals at 300°K (26.85°C) and 384°K (110.85°C) using flash photolysis/resonance fluorescence. A half-life of 28.3 hours for the reaction with OH-radicals as sensitizer was measured at 26.85 °C; the OH-rate constant was determined to be 13.6E-12 cm³/sec at 26.85 °C.
