Additional information

Aquatic PNECs

Fish, Daphnia and algal acute toxicity endpoints are available. The lowest reported endpoint was a 48 hour Daphnia EC50 of 204 mg/L. The following PNECs were calcuated using this endpoint:

PNEC Aqua (freshwater) - Based on an assessment factor of 1000 the PNEC is 0.204 mg/L.

PNEC Aqua (marine water) - Based on an assessment factor of 10000 the PNEC is 0.0204 mg/L.

PNEC Aqua (intermittent releases) - Based on an assessment factor of 100 the PNEC is 2.04 mg/L.

STP PNEC

A NOEC of 32 mg/L was obtained from a series of studies conducted with Pseudomonas putida, following ISO/TC 147/SC 5/WG 1 N 133 (March 1992) guidance based on the Bringmann and Kuhn method. Based on an assessment factor of 1 and the NOEC of 32 mg/L the PNEC STP is 32 mg/L.
