Description of key information

The logKow value of e-caprolactone (Capa monomer) is 0.32 (see Section 4.7, partition coefficient).  The logKow is below the trigger of 3 therefore the substance e-caprolactone is not expected to bioaccumulate in living organisms. According to Column 2 of Annex IX of the REACH regulation,  no bioaccumulation study is required if the logKow is below the trigger of 3.
