Description of key information

The DT50 was estimated to be 3.3 a at pH 7 and 122 d at pH 8 (25 °C; HYDROWIN v2.00, ECT, 2009).

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, the study does not need to be conducted as the substance is readily biodegradable (similar to OECD 301 D: 81% in 20 d, 10-d window met; Price et al., 1974).

The DT50 was estimated to be 3.3 a at pH 7 and 122 d at pH 8 (25 °C; HYDROWIN v2.00, ECT, 2009). The results indicate that isobutyl acetate is better hydrolysed at increasing alkaline pH values.
