DecaBDE was not toxic to six species of terrestrial plants; the NOEC was 6250 mg/kg dry soil, the highest dose tested.
Executive summary:

No effects on emergence, survival or growth was observed on any of the six plant species tested. The highest soil concentration tested, 6250 mg/kg dry soil, was the NOEC. The plants tested were corn, cucumber, onion, ryegrass, soybean, and tomato.
