Description of key information

Thymol was examined for their ability to induce lung tumors in A mice. The animals received i.p. injections of the test compound for 8 weeks and were killed at 24 weeks after the first injection. Two levles were used for the chemical.

Based on the results of the available study a classification is not justified

Additional information

No incidence for lung tumor induction after i.p. application in A mice was found.
