The average dynamic viscosity of "Kaliumsorbat Lösung 50 %" at 20 °C was determined to be in the range of 0.0193 Pa s (at a share rate of 6.3464 s -1 ) to 0.0174 Pa s (at a share rate of 96.8345 s-1). At 40 °C it was determined to be in the range of 0.0116 Pa s (

(at a share rate of 6.0074 s-1) to 0.0087 Pa s (at a share rate of 96.9250 s-1).

Executive summary:

The viskosity of "Kaliumsorbat Lösung 50 %" was determined with a rotational viscometer according to OECD Guidline 114. The test was performed in duplicate at two temperatures. The test substance was a Newtonian liquid because the viscosity was nearly constant at all shear rates. The average dynamic viscosity of "Kaliumsorbat Lösung 50 %" at 20 °C was determined to be in the range of 0.0193 Pa s (at a share rate of 6.3464 s-1) to 0.0174 Pa s (at a share rate of 96.8345 s-1). At 40 °C it was determined to be in the range of 0.0116 Pa s (at a share rate of 6.0074 s-1) to 0.0087 Pa s (at a share rate of 96.9250 s-1).
