Materials and methods
- Principles of method if other than guideline:
- Calcitic and dolomitic limestone were added to samples of the soils at different rates. After the incubation process the exchangeable cations (incl.Ca en Mg) were extracted and analysed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- Calcitic and/or dolomitic limestone were added to two different soils using different dosing levels (as well as a control treatment). Consequently, transfer of Ca from soil to plants (Lolium perenne, ryegrass) was studied. Based on the results of these experiments BSAF factors ranging from 3.03 to 21.09 were calculated for Ca.
