Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes
difficult give oxygen. If respiratory arrest: mouth to
mouth resuscitation.
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes, flush with a mild water flow
for at least 15 minutes, assure adequate flushing by
separating the eyelids with fingers. Call a physician.
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of skin contact, wash immediatelly with plenty of
water at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and
shoes. Call a physician.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: If swallowed, wash out mouth with water and call a
physician. Do not induce vomitting unless directed to do so
by medical personnel. Obtain medical attention immediatelly.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder or
appropriate foam.
Product arising from burning: The substance can emit toxic fumes under fire conditions.
Probable products of pyrolysis: carbon monoxide, nitrogen
oxides, sulphur oxides.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus with respirator
ABEK2 and protective clothing (rubber boots, heavy rubber
gloves and working overall of rubber/ dense cotton cloth,
safety goggles) to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus with respirator
ABEK2 and protective clothing (rubber boots, heavy rubber
gloves and working overall of rubber/ dense cotton cloth,
safety goggles) to prevent contact with skin and eyes.
Pick up in bag and hold for waste disposal. Place sweep up
with plenty of water.Ventilate area and wash spill site
after material pickup is complete.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid dust
formation. Avoid inhalation, provide adequate ventilation.
Whenever is used powder in open system use goggles or
glasses. Sufficient gloves and clothing use to minimize
physical contact. Use approved respirator with filter ABEK2
and anti-dust respirator P2 if product is used in open
system.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed. Product should be stored in
dry, ventilated place protected from light. Avoid contact
with strong acids, strong bases, strong oxidizing agents
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Carbobenzoxy-L-glutaminyl-L-asparaginyl-S-benzyl-L-=
cysteinyl-L-prolyl-L-leucylglycinamide is packed in double
polyethylene (polyethylene hereinafter p/e) bag which is
placed in 100 liter p/e container with p/e cover with metal
stophoop
