Recommended extinguishing agent: Water fog, carbon dioxide, foam or dry powder may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
together with some soot.

Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Absorb spill
using a suitable absorbent material (eg. sand or
vermiculite) and sweep up. Contain large spills to prevent
material entering sewers, ditches or water courses. Transfer
spill to suitably labelled, sealed containers and dispose of
by incineration in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions when handling organic
chemicals. Protective clothing, safety goggles or faceshield
and gloves (eg, butyl rubber, neoprene or nitrile) should be
worn during handling.
