- Executive summary:
The water solubility of Na salts of hydrogenated rosin (FORAL NC®)(batch:CKS4107) was determined according to OECD guideline 105 (1995) and Council Regulation (EC) No. 260/2014, Method A.6.
The solubility of the test itemNa salts of hydrogenated rosin (FORAL NC®) was determined using the flask method at 20 ± 0.5 °C with pre‑incubation at 30 ± 0.5 °C.
The test item was quantified based on the sum of three test item groups. A compound group consists of multiple signals at one m/z ratio, the content of each group was determined by additional analysis of standard samples.
The analytical method (LC‑MS, external standard) for the determination of the test itemNa salts of hydrogenated rosin (FORAL NC®) was validated and tested with satisfactory results in regard to linearity, accuracy, precision and specificity for each of the 3 test item compound groups.
