Description of key information

Additional information

DADTDG was assessed to be readily biodegradable according the result of the OECD 301B -Test under GLP, resulting in a 80% degradation within 28d.

Consequently, no further simulation testing on the biodegradability of DADTDG and no study on its hydrolysis were necessary.

As an additional information, hydrolysis of DADTDG can not be expected to occur as there are no parts of the molecular structure of DADTDG, that may have a susceptibility to hydrolysis.

Studies on bioaccumulation in water organisms and on adsorption of DADTDG were considered to be not necessary as the substance has an experimentally determined log Kow below 0.3 and thus a low potential for bioaccumulation and for adsorption, respectively.
