Administrative data

First-aid measures

Irritanting to eyes. Causes injury to the cornea and eyelids.

IF exposed or if you feel unwell: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

Inhalation

Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

Skin

Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. In case of skin eruption seek medical advice.

Eyes

Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Eyelids should be held away from the eyeball to ensure thorough rinsing. Always seek medical advice.

Ingestion

Only when conscious, rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical advice.

Advice to physician

Symptomatic treatment is advised.

Environmental precautions

Avoid release to the environment.

Collect leaking substance with suited acid proof containers. Do not allow to enter into drain or surface waters. Retain material with earth, diatomeous earth and universal absorbant. Collect contaminated material in suited acid proof containers. Dispose of contaminated material and its container as hazardous waste according to local regulations.

Methods for cleaning up

Neutralise small spillages with lime or soda ash. Rinse remnant with plenty of water.
