Additional information

Citric acid and its monosodium, tripotassium and tricalcium salts have been found to be non-flammable (burning index = 2/3) in screening tests conducted according to appropriate national standard methods. On the basis of read-across within the category, trimagnesium dicitrate is also considered to be non-flammable.

On the basis of experience in handling and use, the substance is not flammable in contact with air or water.

There is no evidence to suggest that the substance should be classified for this endpoint.
