Any other information on results incl. tables

In order to ensure a stable performance of the HPLC column, the column temperature was set to 40°C. The reference Pow-values in the OECD guideline presumably refer to 25°C. Even though the column temperature was 40°C, this temperature has no influence on the result of the determination. Therefore the Pow -value of the test item determined within this study also refers to 25 °C.

Contrary to the calibration substances, the test item Cyclohexylamine could only be detected with MSD instead of DAD. A significant influence on the retention time can be excluded as was seen in study 2010/0031/02 (Determination of the Adsorption Coefficient). The retention time of a reference substance only varied around 0.06 min between the two detection methods. No significant influence on the outcome of the study was assumed.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

Cyclohexylamine has a measured log Kow of 3.7 at a temperature of 25 °C and a pH value of 6.8. (Currenta, 2010).
