Decomposition:
no

Any other information on results incl. tables

During cooling and heating no effects were observed which were due to crystallization and melting of the test item (results of the cooling step are archived in the raw data). After the experiment, the sample appeared to have been unchanged, i.e. no decomposition and/or evaporation were observed.

To further investigate the melting temperature of the test item, two subsamples of the test item were stored for 18 hours at -22.5 ± 0.4°C and at -81.9 ± 2.7°C respectively. It was observed after storage that the test item was a liquid (≤ -15°C freezer) and a solid (≤-75°C freezer), respectively. According to this it was concluded that the melting temperature of the test item is between -75°C and -15°C.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The melting temperature of the tributylphosphine is between -75°C and -15°C.
