Description of key information

The vapour pressure of Bis(2-ethoxyethyl) ether was reported as 51 Pa at 20°C from the Organic Solvents, Physical Properties and Methods of Purification, 4th Edition Handbook and the vapour pressure of Bis(2-ethoxyethyl) ether was reported as 79 Pa at 20°C by INCHEM

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
51 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The data was extracted from the Organic Solvents, Physical Properties and Methods of Purification, 4th Edition Handbook and the International Programme on Chemical Safety, INCHEM. The vapour pressure value of 51 Pa is also used by Toxnet Hazardous Substances Data Bank which was last peer reviewed in May 2007and the Handbook of Green Chemicals. Therefore this value has been chosen for the CSR.
