A number of values are available for the flashpoint of 2 -(2 -methoxyethoxy)ethanol. No one could be identified as a single key reliable figure. The closed cup measurements are the same (although it is not absolutely clear if they actually derive from separate determinations.) They are also measured to a defined standard method. There is less information available behind the origins of the other data. A weight of evidence approach is taken towards determining the flash point with weighting given to the values determined to DIN standards with the latter effectively taken as the key parameter.
