Half-life (DT50): 2.9 hours; degradation rate constant: 131.7 E-12 cm³ molecule-1 s-1 for reaction with: OH radicals (calculated with SRC-AOP Win v 1.91).

There are no experimental data on the stability of dicyclohexylamine in the atmosphere.

The calculated half-life of dicyclohexylamine in air due to indirect photodegradation is 2.9 hours, considering a reaction constant of 131.7 x 10-12 cm3/molecule.sec and a daily mean (24-h) OH-radicals concentration of 500,000 radicals/cm3 (Bayer Industry Services, 2005a).

The recalculated half-life of dicyclohexylamine in air using the latest version of AopWin v1.92 is 0.974 hours, considering a reaction constant of 131.7 E-12 cm3/molecule.sec and a daily mean (12-h) OH-radicals concentration of 150,000 radicals/cm3.

DCHA has a high log Kow-value, it will probably mostly be abundant in sediment and soil and hence not being exposed to sunlight (IVL Report B1817, 2008).
