Ingestion : If swallowed, wash out mouth with water provided person is conscious. Call a physician

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extingushing media: Water spray, carbondioxide, dry chemical powder or appropriate foam

Hazardous Decomposition Products : Emits toxic fumes under fire conditions Unusual fire / explosion hazards

Special fire – fighting procedures : Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes

Protection of fire-fighters : Wear appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator, chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles, other protective clothing. Use only in a fume hood.

Accidental release measures

Large Spill and Leak : Sweep up, place in a bag and hold for disposal. Avoid raising dust. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete.

Personal Protection in case of large spill: Splash goggles. Full suit. Boots. Gloves. A self-contained breathing apparatus should be used to avoid inhalation of the product. Suggested protective clothing might not be sufficient; consult a specialist BEFORE handling this product.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Engineering measures :Use adequate general or local exhaustive ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below the permissible exposure limits. Use Process enclosure, Local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering controls to control airborne levels.

Respiratory system : Wear a NIOSH/MSHA or European standard EN 149 approved full-facepiece airline respirator in the positive pressure mode with emergency escape provision.

Skin and body : Wear appropriate protective clothing to prevent skin exposure.

Hands : Wear appropriate protective gloves

Eyes : Wear safety glasses

Stability and reactivity

Stable.
Conditions to avoid: Incompatible materials, light, exposure to air, exposure to moist air or water.
Incompatibility with Various Substances : Strong oxidizing agents; Toxic fumes of CO, CO2.

Disposal considerations

Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator equipped with an after burner and scrubber. Observe all federal, state and local environmental regulations
