Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
General advice : If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible). Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately.
Inhalation : If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
Skin contact : Immediately flush skin with large amounts of water. If skin irritation persists, call a physician.
Eye contact : If easy to do, remove contact lens, if worn. In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Ingestion : If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. If symptoms persist, call a physician. If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the recovery position.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media : Dry chemical, Water spray jet
Specific hazards : Hazardous decomposition products may be formed under fire conditions (see SDS section 10). Exposure to decomposition products may be a hazard to health.
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters : Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary. Use personal protective equipment.
Further information : Standard procedure for chemical fires. Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains. Fire residues and contaminated fire extinguishing water must be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions : Refer to protective measures listed in SDS sections 7 and 8. Avoid dust formation. Avoid breathing dust. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in confined areas.
Environmental precautions : Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. If the product contaminates rivers and lakes or drains inform respective authorities.
Methods for cleaning up : Use mechanical handling equipment. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal. Clean contaminated surface thoroughly.
Handling and storage
Handling
Advice on safe handling : For personal protection see SDS section 8. Avoid creating dust. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Remove all sources of ignition.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion : Normal measures for preventive fire protection. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Take measures to prevent the build up of electrostatic charge.
Storage
Requirements for storage areas and containers :The product is stable at ambient temperature (25°C). Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, well ventilated place.
Advice on common storage : Incompatible with acids and bases. Incompatible with oxidizing agents. Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs.
Other data : No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Components with workplace control parameters
Contains no substances with occupational exposure limit values.
Other information on limit values: see SDS section 16
Engineering measures
Provide sufficient air exchange and/or exhaust in work rooms.
Personal protective equipment
Respiratory protection : In the case of dust or aerosol formation use respirator with an approved filter.
Hand protection
Remarks : Wear suitable gloves. Choose gloves to protect hands against chemicals depending on the concentration and quantity of the hazardous substance and specific to place of work. For special applications, we recommend clarifying the resistance to chemicals of the aforementioned protective gloves with the glove manufacturer.
Eye protection : Safety glasses
Skin and body protection : Choose body protection according to the amount and concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place.
Hygiene measures : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. General industrial hygiene practice. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of workday.
Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Stability and reactivity
Conditions to avoid : Heat, flames and sparks.
Materials to avoid : Strong acids and strong bases, Oxidizing agents
Hazardous decomposition products : In case of fire hazardous decomposition products may be produced such as carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Hazardous reactions : Dust can form an explosive mixture in air.
Stability : No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
Disposal considerations
Advice on disposal and packaging :
Disposal : In accordance with local and national regulations. Do not dispose of waste into sewer. Do not dispose of together with household waste.
Waste codes should be assigned by the user based on the application for which the product was used.
