Results and discussion

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
In the joint chemical report of calcium dihydroxide, three tests studying eye irritation on rabbit and two ran on in vitro (HET-CAM) exist. Two key studies using the OECD guideline N°405 and three supporting study using OECD 405 and the in vitro HET-CAM. In conclusion, the available eye irritation studies (in vivo, rabbit), Ca(OH)2 caused irreversible lesions in the eye.
