Description of key information

Cyprinus carpio were exposed to isophorone diisocyanate homopolymer in a limit test for a period of 96 hours. The study was conducted according to EU Method C.1. No mortality was observed at the highest soluble loading. Thus the LC50 (96 hours) was determined as >1.5 mg/L (highest measured concentration) indicating that the substance has no acute toxic effects on fish at concentrations up to the water solubility limit.
