Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Point 9.3.1, Column 2, Annex IX of Regulation 1907/2006 states that adsorption/desorption screening is not required of the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly.  The ready biodegradability of the substance has been determined to be 89% after 28 days and so it is considered that the substance undergoes rapid decomposition. On this basis, no adsorption/desorption testing is considered to be required.

However for the purpose of environmental risk assessment a KOC value of 1770 l/kg (MCI method) was estimated in KOCWIN v2.00 (EPI Suite v4.10). The MCI method Koc estimate has been used as it provides the most conservative value for PNEC sediment and soil.
