First-aid measures
General information: Consult a physician. Please show the MSDS.
inhalation: If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. In case of discomfort, consult a physician.
Skin contact: immediately wash skin soap and copious amounts of water. In case of irritation, consult a physician.
Eye contact: rinse immediately flush eyes with copious amounts of water by maintaining the spread eyelids for at least 15 minutes. Consult an ophthalmogist in case of persistant disorders.
Ingestion: put the victim at rest. In case of discomfort, seek medical advice immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: powder and carbon dioxide.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: no information available.
Specific hazards, products of combustion: As all powder, this product can generate a dust explosion. In case of fire, presence of dangerous fumes: CO and CO2
Fire fighting equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus, Wear protective clothing.
Others informations : Eliminate the residues after combustion by respecting the local law prescriptions
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Use an equipment of individual protection (see section 8). Assure adequate ventilation. Kidnap any source of ignition. Evacuate the staff towards safe places. Reduce the concentration of vapours with some pulverized water.
Environmental protectives precautions: Do not discharge into the sewer or in the natural environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: to collect by mechanical means and place residues in a packaging for waste public. Contain and collect the wide-spread material and put in a container for disposal according to the /local national rules.
Handling and storage
Handling :
Appropriate technical measures: Assure adequate ventilation (local or general aspiration, hood for vapour chemical). Wear a device of protection of eyes. Avoid any contact with the skin. Do not smoke, not drink or eat during the use. Avoid the bearing of contact lenses during the handling of the product, loads.
Advice on occupational hygiene
Do not eat, drink or smoke in work areas
Wash your hands after every use
Remove contaminated clothing and protective equipment before entering a food service area.
Storage :
Storage conditions: Store in a cool place. Hold the container closed well in a dry and well aerated place. Keep tightly closed and store it vertically to avoid any drainage. Do not store in the presence of foodstuffs. Store shielded from the incompatible materials.
