Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with water.
Emergency measure - Skin: In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap
and water. Consult a doctor if skin irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: Carbonoxides, Kohlenstoffoxide
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Depending upon size of fire and local conditions, protective
clothing and self-contained gas mask may be needed.
Accidental release measures
aufnehmen (z.B. mit baumustergeprüften Industriestaubsauger)
und in geeigneten Gebinden zur Entsorgung sammeln. Gebinde
gemäß TRGS 201 kennzeichnen und unter Berücksichtigung und
in Übereinstimmung mit den nationalen und lokalen
Vorschriften entsorgen. Beim Aufnehmen des Stoffes Haut- und
Augenkontakt sowie das Einatmen desselben vermeiden.
Zu diesem Zweck die unter ("Handhabung") beschriebene
persönliche Schutzausrüstung tragen.
"ENGLISH"
Take up spilled material and avoid formation of dust (e.g.
by useing an approved vacuum cleaner). Collect in siutable
containers for disposal. Label containers according to
national regulations and dispose according to local and
national regulations. Avoid inhaltion and contact with skin
and eyes when taking up. Use personal protective equipment
(see "handling").
Handling and storage
dass die Belastung durch Hautkontakt so gering wie möglich
ist. Das Einatmen und der Augenkontakt mit dem Stoff sollten
vermieden werden.
Bei Abfüll-, Umfüll- und Dosierarbeiten sowie bei
Probenahmen sollten geschlossene bzw. zumindest staubdichte
Vorrichtungen verwendet werden.
Beim Umgang in offenen Systemen sollte möglicher Staub
Augenschutz (z.B.:::) wird empfohlen.
In unmittelbarer Nähe des Arbeitsbereiches sollten
ausreichende Waschgelegenheiten zur Verfügung stehen. Nach
Hautkontakt sollten die betroffenen Körperstellen sofort
gründlich mit ::: gereinigt werden.
Besondere Hautschutz- und Hautpflegemaßnahmen werden
empfohlen. Es sollte ein Hautschutzplan aufgestellt werden.
Bei möglicher Staubentwicklung sollten wegen der
potentiellen Staubexplosionsgefahr potentielle Zündquellen
aus dem Arbeitsbereich entfernt werden. Des weiteren sollten
Maßnahmen gegen elektrostatische Aufladungen getroffen
werden.
"ENGLISH"
Working procedures must be designed so that exposure by
dermal contact is minimized. Inhalation and contact with the
eyes should be avoided. Closed or at least dustproof
equipment should be used during filling, metered feeding,
and sampling. During handling of the substance in open
systems arising dust should be sucked at the formation
place. In cases where technical extraction or ventilation
measures are either not possible or not adequate,
respirators should be worn. Tested protective gloves
according to standard (e.g. of PVC) and, if necessary,
suitable protective clothing according to standard (e.g...)
should be worn to avoid contact with the skin. The wearing
of a suitable eye protector is recommended (e.g...).
Adequate washing facilities should be available in the
immediate vicinity of the working area. After contact with
the skin, the affected parts of the body should be
thoroughly cleaned using (:::). Special skin-protection and
skin-care measures are recommended. Draw up a
skin-protection plan. Due to the potential dust-explosion
risk, in cases where dust may form, potential ignition
sources should be removed from the working area. Further
take measures against static discharges.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Impossible
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The ecotoxic data show that Evanillat is harmful to Daphnia
magna.
According to the readily biodegradation, long term adverse
effects in the environmental seems to be minimal.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Impossible
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Impossible
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Evanillat does not affect a controlled discharge
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Recommended
