"ENGLISH"
Substance itself does not present a fire hazard. If involved
in a fire, mainly nitric oxides, carbon oxides as well as
sulfur-, chlorine and chromium oxides may be produced an
self-contained breathing apparatus should then be used.

Normal application results in the consumption of more than
98 % by irreversible binding to wool or polyamide.
Recovery for recycling of the remaining highly water soluble
substance is not reasonably practicable.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Entfällt
"ENGLISH"
Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Ablagerung in einer zugelassenen Sondermülldeponie
"ENGLISH"
Discharge in a controlled deposit is possible.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Veraschung in geeigneter Verbrennungsanlage
"ENGLISH"
Discharge by incineration in suitable plant is possible.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Restflotte kann ultrafiltriert oder mittels Polyelektrolyt
behandelt werden.
"ENGLISH"
If the dyestuff is used for dyeing of wool or polyamide the
following waste-water charges may occur:
For a dark navy colouring of polyamide 6.6 two parts of the
dyestuff from hundred parts of polyamide weight are applied.
Assuming a binding grade of 98 % and a dye-bath ratio of 1 :
10 the remaining amount of dyestuff in the used dye-bath is
4 mg/l.
Depending on the installation of the dye-work the remaining
dye-bath can be ultrfiltrated or treated by means of a
poly-electrolyte. In both cases the dyestuff will be
degraded or eliminated resp. to traces.
If the remaining dye-bath is not treated the following
scenario can be assumed:
The above mentioned 4 mg/l dyestuff (traded quality)
correspond to 2 mg/l of the notified and tested quality
(coupage ratio 1 : 1).
After the usual dilution with wah and rinse water as well as
with waste-water in the ratio 1 : 40 the dyestuff will reach
the public water treatment system in a concentration of 0.05
mg/l. Here the substance will be eliminated to 68 % approx.
(see Zahn-Wellens-Test 5.2.2). When reaching the surface
water the concentration will be decreased again in the ratio
1 : 10 by dilution. Finally the end concentration at the
time reaching the surface water is 0.0034 mg/l. This value
is thirty times smaller than the EC 0 value for fish of 0.1
mg/l (see 5.1.1). If the dyestuff is used appropriately
there will be no acute toxic effect against fish or daphnia.
