- Based on the measured concentrations, the water solubility resulted to be 60.7 ± 0.7 g/l.
PRELIMINARY TEST
The solubility of the test item was approximately 100 g/l applying visual inspection, therefore the flask method has been chosen for the main test. - Conclusions:
- Water solubility: 60.7 ± 0.7 g/l at 20 °C and pH 4.6
- Executive summary:
The solubility of test item in water at was determined, according to the OECD guideline 105. In the course of the study the water solubility of test item was determined at 20 ± 0.5 °C using the flask method. The test item was dissolved in water at a temperature somewhat above the test temperature. When saturation was achieved the mixture was cooled and kept at the test temperature, stirring as long as necessary to reach equilibrium. Subsequently, the mass concentration of the substance in the aqueous solution was determined by a suitable analytical method, previously validated.
Based on the measured concentrations, the water solubility resulted to be 60.7 ± 0.7 g/l.
